2. General information on data processing

We only process personal data where this is necessary to provide this website and its functions, or where you have given your consent. This website does not use analytics, tracking or advertising services. No cookies are set for analytics or marketing purposes.

3. Hosting and server log data

This website is hosted on the infrastructure of Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated), which is also used to provide the database functionality. The provider processes data on our behalf as a processor.

When you access the website, technically necessary access data is processed, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred as well as browser and operating system information. This processing is technically required to deliver the website, ensure its stable operation and detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website).

4. Contact by email

If you send us an email, we process the data you provide (your email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Early Access sign-up

When you sign up for Early Access, we store only:

  • the email address you provide,
  • the time of your sign-up,
  • the status of your consent.

The sole purpose of this processing is to inform you about the development of Margevio, the testing phase and its future availability. No further personal data such as your name, address or phone number is collected.

The legal basis is your voluntary consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons, for example by email to hallo@margevio.de. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

After a withdrawal we delete your email address. We likewise delete the data when the purpose of the processing no longer applies – for example if we discontinue Early Access.

Sign-ups are stored in a database on the Lovable infrastructure named above. Access is technically restricted so that stored sign-ups cannot be retrieved through the website.

6. Recipients and data sharing

We do not share your data with third parties, apart from the hosting and database provider named above, which processes the data on our behalf, and cases in which we are legally obliged to disclose data. No data is transferred to advertising or analytics providers.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • right to withdraw consent you have given (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

A message to hallo@margevio.de is enough to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

8. Changes to this privacy policy

Margevio is in development. We will update this privacy policy as soon as the actual data processing changes. Back to the home page. This page is an English translation provided for convenience; the German Datenschutzerklärung is the authoritative version.
